KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Help to create, maintain and update relevant databases (for instance attendance and monitoring data) for the organisation and funding bodies e.g. class registers, the CAT database and equal opportunities data, maintaining confidentiality in line with GDPR and Data Protection Regulations 2018.
- Support the CAT Team in registration of students and monitoring of student attendance, ensuring they attend all relevant classes/appointments in line with Individual Training Plans.
- Assist in disseminating relevant information for students, parents/guardians, teachers, freelancers, and other organisations as required e.g. information for factsheets, class registers, timetables, and theatre trip schedules.
- Liaise with the Communications department to provide CAT-related copy for the internal News of The Week and News of The Month staff emails.
- To keep Padlet up to date and draft CAT mail each week.
- To liaise with the health and wellbeing team.
- Take detailed notes during meetings.

- Liaise with the Finance department raising invoices for other income, e.g. ticket sales, fees for missed appointments, logging any other income or expenditure as required.

- Draft copy for and assist in the promotion and marketing of CAT Programmes through The Place website, social and print media, in line with The Place and national CAT guidelines.
- Record class content for social media.
- Work with National CAT to promote all Centres on social media (Takeover).
- Review and monitor the CAT content on The Place website and CAT noticeboards to ensure that all information is relevant and up to date, notifying the CAT or Communications Team of any changes required.

- Provide a first point of contact for incoming programme enquiries with the support of the CAT Team.
- Support the CAT Team on programme delivery days and performance events.
- Be a point of contact for teaching assistants, in relation to time-off, scheduling, training and cover.
- Be a point of contact for students during delivery days including pastoral care, attendance and oversight of uniform.
- Assist in coordinating student recruitment, CAT Admission Workshops, open days and outreach projects.
- Liaise with the CAT Health and Well-Being Team, organising student appointments for screenings, conditioning sessions and follow-up appointments.
- Help to create marketing material for CAT projects.
- Create Microsoft Teams meetings for classes, interviews and meetings.
- Take CAT Team meeting notes and update agendas and collated actions with any relevant information.
- Organise printouts for delivery days.

- Report any serious pastoral and/or safeguarding concerns to management or a safeguarding officer in line with The Place’s safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Log and report to the CAT Programme Manager any concerns highlighted by the CAT Physical Therapy team following student screenings.
- Make chaperone arrangements for staff and young people/adults at risk as required for off-site activity.
- Help deliver student tutorials where needed.
- Assist students who may need reassurance or guidance on a general level.

- Assist in The Place evacuation procedure (once training has been received).
- Attend The Place meetings as required.
- Any other tasks reasonably requested by the CAT Programme Manager or CAT Assistant Manager, for instance deputising for CAT Team members in their absence.
- Maintain a sanitised and orderly work environment including overseeing tea/coffee making facilities.
- Liaise with LCDS students as teaching assistants- including booking cover.
- Attend at all times when the student cohort is in the building.
