ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- Good understanding of marketing strategies and approaches for promoting live events.
- Good understanding of Audience Development practices and strategies.

- Budget management.
- Excellent IT literacy skills, including Microsoft Office 365, website content management systems (e.g. WordPress), email marketing systems (e.g. DotDigital, MailChimp, etc.), ticketing systems (e.g. Spektrix, Tessitura, etc.).
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster trust, collaboration and positive working relationships to achieve shared goals.

- Extensive experience of managing marketing campaigns and delivery for theatre and/or dance (including mixed media, fill funnel marketing campaigns across print, digital, organic and paid socials, advertising, out of home, etc.).
- Experience in setting and working to targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Experience in campaign evaluation and analysis.
- Experience in line managing staff, managing reviews and appraisal processes, workloads, training and development, all contributing to a collaborative and supportive working environment.

- Good communication skills and written English, including copywriting skills for different mediums and audiences.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA

- Knowledge of UK regional or International touring.
- Knowledge of marketing for a live events venue or receiving house.
- Knowledge of marketing for a production company, producing or receiving house or similar environment originating live performances.
- Knowledge of marketing recreational classes.

- Familiarity with design platforms like Canva or Photoshop.

- Experience working across a range of different projects or performances simultaneously, balancing tasks, priorities and relationships with multiple artists accordingly.
- Experience building and maintaining strong relationships, with the ability to work closely and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally at the same time.

- A flair for design and good attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for contemporary dance.
