KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMMES & NETWORKS
In collaboration with Senior Management, implement the alumni engagement strategy and associated programmes of activity, integrated into The Place’s wider progammes (Artist Development, Continuing Professional Development, postgraduate study, Lifelong Learning Entitlement, Knowledge Exchange) to support and engage alumni in their ongoing professional, artistic and academic development.
Develop and strengthen alumni networks nationally and internationally, inviting alumni to share their time and expertise back with The Place through appropriate channels and support the organisation’s advocacy initiatives.
Collaborate with the Communications Team and particularly the Press and PR Manager to maximise reach, engagement, and retention.
Convene and provide administrative support for Alumni Working Group and associated Senior Management Team meetings.
Facilitate Senior Management to build relationships with alumni, aiming for them to support The Place to reach their networks.
Support and develop the Propeller Projects to help recent graduates launch their creative careers immediately after graduation.

ALUMNI RECORDS / DATA COLLECTION
Develop and prepare robust qualitative and quantitative evidence including case studies for the World-leading specialist provider funding application.
Gather and collate details about notable alumni activities and successes, and work with Senior Management to analyse and interpret trends and patterns, ensuring adherence to GDPR and The Place’s data policies and procedures.
Enable Senior Management to interpret alumni engagement data and HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency) graduate outcomes data.
Support the School Office and Data Officer to maintain accurate records, including accurate contact details for alumni.

COMMUNICATIONS
Supported by the Communications Team, ensure regular and effective communication with alumni about events, opportunities, etc. in accordance with The Place Communications guidelines.
Working with the Communications Team, build awareness of alumni activity and engagement throughout and beyond The Place, promoting alumni activity and successes.
Manage the alumni email inbox, answering alumni queries in a timely manner.
Prepare reports for Senior Management/relevant teams.
Raise awareness of international alumni, briefing faculty who are travelling domestically or overseas.

EVENT MANAGEMENT
Develop alumni-led reunion events.
Organise alumni involvement in LCDS events, such as performances, open days and outreach activities.

GENERAL
Fulfil such other responsibilities as may, from time to time, be reasonably requested by Senior Management.
