ABOUT

The Creative Learning Team at The Place are passionate about dance and learning. We are responsible for creating inspirational projects in schools, communities and in our venue. Our work focuses on partnerships, the sharing of knowledge and expertise, aspiration-raising, and exploring ways in which dance can enrich learning and help change lives.

 

Our work includes, but isn’t limited to:

  • Partner Schools.
  • School Dance Festivals.
  • Bespoke School Projects.
  • Dance Resources for Schools.
  • Local Community Projects.
  • Youth Dance Platform.
  • Contextual Events as part of our Theatre Programme (Spectator School).


We work with many other teams at The Place to deliver these programmes including London Contemporary Dance School (LCDS), the Centre for Advanced Training (CAT), Classes & Courses, and the Public Programmes Teams.
